Achdut Gemach celebrated its first 5 years with the attendance of important community and national authorities, including Minister Andy Frere, Israel's new Ambassador Ilan Sztulman, former President of the Central Bank of Argentina and England Mario Blejer, Member of the General Assembly Waldo Wolff, AMIA’s President Thomas Saieg, businessman Eduardo Elsztain, President of IRSA, and Dario Epstein, CNN columnist, among others.
It was a special and different evening, in which the halls of the Four Seasons Buenos Aires Hotel were filled with emotion and sensitivity for others.
One of the emotional moments was when the president of the institution finished his speech saying:
The famous Maimonides, the Rambam, explains that there are 8 levels of Charity, the highest of which is to help others, giving a loan or a job so that the person can support himself.
This is what Gemach does every day.
Through the evening awards were granted to the different institutions and personalities.
It was, without a doubt, an inspiring and unforgettable event.
